CATEGORY I |
|
|
- Tomatoes of high quality, selected with their size, colour and state of maturity.
- These tomatoes selected in this category have to be firm of high quality and uniform colour and maturity. Keeping within its calibre.
- The visible part of the product in the box has to be representative of all the packed product.
- Category I should not include: Soft tomato, deformed tomato, scratched tomato or cracked skin.
- Quality tolerance and calibre up to 10% of tomatoes chosen in category II.

CATEGORY II |
|
|
- In this category the tomatoes should be relatively firm and without scars that have not healed.
- They can have the following defects, maintaining the characteristics of quality and presentation of the category:
- Defects in form, development and coloration.
- Some bumps and softness.
- Cracks which have healed no more than 3cm in longitude.
- Tolerance of quality and size up to 10% of the tomatoes not in this category.
