   CATEGORY I  
  
  • Peppers of high quality, selected with their size, colour and state of maturity are considered as category I.
  • The visible part of the product in the box has to be representative of all the packed product.
  • Peppers in this category have to be firm, representative of its form, and colour of its variety.
  • Quality tolerance and caliber up to 10% of peppers chosen in category II.
 
   CATEGORY II  
  
  • The calibration is not necessary in category II, as long as you respect the minimum of 50 mm.
  • It needs to represent the minimum characteristics of quality. Allowing for the following defects:
    • Form and development.
    • Sun burn or scars which have healed.
    • Cracks which are superficial.
    • Stem can be damaged or cut off.
  • Quality tolerance and caliber up to 10%, excluding the fruits which have gone bad or not for customer consumption.
