NORMS OF SIZES
                Caliber per weight of unit:

  • Minimum weight is 1,5Kg.
  • In packed material The difference in weight from the smallest to the largest unit cannot exceed 2Kg. If the smallest unit exceeds 6Kg.
 		 
 
  
   CATEGORY I  
  
  • Well shaped.
  • Without scars or scratches.
  • The stem should have a length maximum of 5cm.
  • Quality of tolerance and caliber up to 10% of the weight for all the categories.
  
   CATEGORY II  
  
  • These water melons cannot be classified in category I but have the minimum characteristics.
    Can have the following defects:
    • Some defects in form.
    • Defects in coloration of the skin.
    • Some superficial defects due to rubbing or parasites, including sickness of the fruit.
