Norms of Quality for Courgette |

CATEGORY I |
|
|
- Well selected zucchini, with its right shape and colour are considered category I.
- Zucchini in this category should not have a stem longer in length than 3 cm.
- The visible part of the packed product should be representative of all the material being shipped.
- Category I should be free of the following:
- Deformed zucchini.
- Defects in the colour.
- Cracks or wrinkles in the skin.
- Tolerance of quality and size up to 10% can be of category II.

|
- Considered in this category if they have the following defects:
- The tip can be some what damaged.
- Defect in form and color.
- Sun burn.
- Scars on the skin which do not affect the conservation.
- Not included in this category are those courgettes which have gone bad, or have wounds which have not healed.
- Tolerance of quality and size up to 10% difference of those in this category.
